What we do with your information

A small shop run by one person. We collect what is needed to send you an order, and not much else.

Who we are

Little Favour, at littlefavour.co.uk. We are the data controller for the information described here. Write to hello@littlefavour.co.uk about anything on this page.

When you order

To send you an order we need your name, delivery address, email address and, if you give one, a phone number for the courier. We also keep what you ordered and any wording you asked us to print.

The lawful basis is performance of a contract: we cannot post a parcel without knowing where it goes. We keep order records for six years, which is how long HMRC requires business records to be kept.

Payment is taken by Stripe. Your card details are entered on Stripe's pages and never reach us; we are told only whether the payment succeeded.

Order confirmations and dispatch emails are sent through Brevo, which handles the sending on our behalf.

When you visit

If you accept, we use Google for two things. Google Analytics counts visits and tells us which pages are useful. Google Ads tells us whether an advert we paid for led to an order, and can mean you are shown our products on other sites afterwards. The lawful basis for both is your consent, which you can withdraw at any time from the cookies page. If you do not accept, Google's script is never loaded at all.

Google processes that data as described in its privacy policy, and may process it outside the UK. You can control what Google associates with your own account at My Ad Center and see or delete your activity at My Activity.

Because the advertising tag is Google's, a visit here can be associated with your Google account if you are signed in to one. That is what the opt-outs above are for. We have not turned on Google Signals, which would extend the same association to the analytics data as well.

Who else sees it

Royal Mail, to deliver the parcel. Stripe, to take the payment. Brevo, to send the emails. Google, if you accepted analytics and advertising cookies. Our hosting provider, which stores the site and its database. We do not sell your information and we do not share it for anyone else's marketing.

Your rights

You can ask for a copy of what we hold, ask us to correct it, ask us to delete it, or object to how we use it. Write to hello@littlefavour.co.uk and we will answer within a month. Some records we must keep for tax reasons even if you ask us to delete them, and we will tell you if that applies.

If you think we have handled your information badly you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office.
